CampusEats Vendor Terms & Conditions

1. Platform Fee Structure

CampusEats charges a flat fee of ₦100 per successfully completed order.
  • The ₦100 fee applies to every order that reaches "delivered" status.
  • Cancelled or refunded orders are not charged.
  • Payouts are made via bank transfer to the account details you provide in your profile.

2. Vendor Registration & Approval

  • All vendors must be registered at a partner university.
  • Vendor accounts require admin approval before activation.
  • You must provide accurate business name, contact information, and bank details.
  • Providing false information will result in immediate account termination.

3. Order Fulfilment Responsibilities

  • Once payment is confirmed by CampusEats admin, you are required to begin preparing the order.
  • You must set a realistic ready time and update the order status as you progress.
  • You are responsible for meeting the student at the agreed meeting point at the time you set.
  • CampusEats is not liable for transport costs or risks associated with reaching meeting points.
  • If a student does not appear to collect their order, you must select a cancellation reason. CampusEats will review the case before processing any refund.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If you cancel an order after payment is confirmed, a full student refund will be issued and you will not receive payment for that order.
  • If a student does not collect their order (no-show), document it by selecting the appropriate cancellation reason. CampusEats will determine refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
  • In cases of student no-show where you made a genuine effort to fulfil the order, CampusEats may at its discretion provide partial compensation.

5. Product Listings

  • Only list products you are genuinely able to supply on your campus.
  • Product images must accurately represent what you are selling.
  • Prices must be in Nigerian Naira (₦) and must include all costs.
  • CampusEats reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms or are flagged by students.
  • Do not list illegal, counterfeit, harmful, or age-restricted products.

6. Conduct & Content Standards

  • Treat all students respectfully through the platform.
  • Do not attempt to conduct transactions outside the CampusEats platform.
  • Do not upload offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate product images or descriptions.

7. Data Privacy (NDPR Compliance)

CampusEats complies with the NDPR 2019 and NDPA 2023.

  • Data we collect about you: Name, email, phone number, business name, bank details, university, order history.
  • Why: To process payouts, verify your identity, and operate the marketplace.
  • Your bank details are stored securely and are only visible to CampusEats admin for payout processing.
  • Your contact details are never shared with students.
  • You may request deletion of your data by contacting campus.eatsx@gmail.com. Note that order records must be retained for 12 months for legal and financial compliance.

8. Account Termination

  • CampusEats may suspend or terminate your vendor account for violation of these terms, repeated poor fulfilment, or fraudulent activity.
  • Outstanding payouts at time of termination will be processed after a 30-day review period.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • CampusEats is a technology platform, not an employer or business partner.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from cancelled orders, transport issues, or platform downtime.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to fees paid to us in the month the dispute arose.
By registering as a CampusEats vendor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
